We welcome our Military Families to our campus!
Our campus celebrates our military students and families with numerous special events throughout the year beginning with our Community Helper Initiative in early fall, continuing with our Veterans Honor Parade, and celebrating the Month of the Military Child recognition in April. Also, NCES invites our Military to volunteer with our WatchD.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) and M.O.M.S. (Mothers of Marvelous Students) safe school initiative. On the Newton County Elementary campus, we are proud to offer a peer support program to help new students transition easily.
