I am so glad you are visiting our Counselor's Corner. My name is Chris Broach. I am excited to be your school counselor at Newton County Elementary School. I make myself available to all students at Newton County Elementary School in the following ways:

• Promoting positive attitudes among students towards self, family, peers and community
• Assisting students in learning how school performance relates to future opportunities
• Developing and delivering classroom guidance lessons that teach skills such as resolving conflict, Social and Emotional Learning, respecting others
• Working with students, parents and staff to identify learning needs and to design interventions to enhance student success
• Providing individual and small group counseling
• Teaching PBIS
